How To Link Your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus to Union Bank Mobile App

Overview

After receiving your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus, the next thing to do is to check if your ATM card is already activated. You can check it by inquiring the balance thru a Union Bank ATM. Once inquiry is successful, then your ATM card is already activated. Likewise, it’s also recommended to change your PIN right away. You don’t wanna fall victim by the ATM fraudsters right?

Now that your card is secured, what else is left to do?

Do you have pending loan for approval from Pag-IBIG? Do you wanna know if your loan proceeds were already deposited to your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus? Get updated anywhere and anytime by linking your Loyalty Card Plus to your Union Bank Mobile Application. This way, you no longer need to go to any ATM just to inquire your balance because you can now do your balance check thru your phone. Just like any other ATM card, your Loyalty Card Plus has it corresponding bank account under your name which can be enrolled and used for online banking thus acceptable for mobile apps offered by its hosting bank. Thus, two days after I received my Loyalty Card Plus from Pag-IBIG, I tried and was able to successfully link my card to Union Bank App. And here’s how I did it:

How To Link Your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus To Union Bank Mobile App

First, download the Union Bank bank from your designated App store. Once installed, click on the Union Bank app in your phone via its icon as shown below:

Once opened, click the SIGN UP WITH EXISTING ACCOUNT as shown below:

On the Terms & Conditions page, just scroll down to read and enable the ACCEPT button then click it.

On the Sign Up page, choose Account Number.

Then input your Card Account Number in the box as shown below. Your Union Bank account number can be found at the back of your Pag-IBIG loyalty Card plus. Then click the NEXT button on the upper right corner of the page.

Upon clicking the next button, the app will send your One-Time Password (OTP) to the mobile number you registered during enrollment to Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card plus. Once received, just input it to the corresponding section below.

Then you will be asked to create your own User ID and Password which you will be needing for every Login to Union Bank Mobile App. Once you have nominated your User ID and password, just click the NEXT button.

Afterwards, you will be asked to verify and/or update your contact information as shown below. Once updated/verified, just click NEXT button.

Then the welcome page of the app will be displayed. Just click the CONTINUE button. You will also be asked if you want to enable your Touch ID for login and to turn on your notifications for advisories, transaction receipts and recommendations. Just select your own preferences and click the GO TO DASHBOARD to complete the setup and proceed with your account dashboard.

And Voila! You have just completed linking your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card plus to Union Bank Mobile app. Now you can check your card online if your awaited loan proceeds, benefits or dividends has been remitted to your account by Pag-IBIG.

Likewise, you will also receive an SMS from UnionBank regarding the successful linking of your Pag-IBIG loyalty card plus to Union Bank app. (see screenshot below):

Final Thought

Initially, your balance will be zero. Don’t expect that the PHP125 you paid during registration will be deposited to your Union Bank account. It was your registration fee in the first place though you can still transfer money to it from your other online banks or even GCash.

Like any other mobile banking apps, this Union Bank app also looks promising. It has the same features as the others as it has features like sending money, receiving money, paying bills and buy Load. Furthermore you can also book an appointment to the nearest branch with it. You can deposit check using it by just scanning your check right on the app itself. And even more, if you are into foreign exchange, you can buy or sell other currencies with it. You can activate your card using it and it has UITF (Unit Investment Trust Funds) which you can avail to grow your money.

        1. Hi Pau, are you trying to link another credit card to your Union Bank account? If so, you need to do it by going to “Manage” section in your dashboard page. Select “Add Account” then choose “Add an Existing Account”. Then on the account selection, select “Credit Card” and enter the 16-digit credit card number then just follow the succeeding instructions. Once your account is activated you can now link it to your Union Mobile App. Now, if you want to verify if your account is already activated without going to any ATM branch, you can just keep on trying this mobile app enrollment. If it is unsuccessful, then you account is not yet activated. Else it is (activated).

      1. Try to register from your mobile app (not from the online unionbank.ph site)
      2. If it says you cannot sign up at this time. Probably you can try some other day and time. Like weekdays.
      3. Lastly, if all else still give you the same error prompt, then probably there is a mismatch contact details from what you have given during the Loyalty card registration and the union mobile app signup. If this is the case, you might need to go to the nearest Union bank branch to fix this problem. Thank you.

Hi Lovely, the moment you got your Unionbank atm (or Pag Ibig Loyalty Card Plus) activated means you already have existing account in UB account records and this include your name, email and phone number. Kaso yung email po na nilagay ng papa ko sa form na finil upan is gawa-gawa lang po nya nung nag apply cya ng loyalty card. yan po ang problema namin. ano po ba dapat gawin. gawa gawa lang po nya yung email add na nilagay niya sa form nuon. wala po talaga siyang email address

    I’m trying to link my PAG-IBIG Loyalty card however I can’t find my account number. at the back of the card is card no only and at the front naman is my PAG-IBIG number. Unfortunately I lost the paper that goes with the card when issued.

    1. Hi Line, you should find the Account Number of your UB Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus at the back of the card. If not, then probably it is just the OLD Pag-IBIG Loyalty card (with No Plus). You may need to reach UB branch or Pag-IBIG for this case. Thank you.

    1. Hi Lea, This procedure only applies to Loyalty card PLUS not loyalty card only. Therefore you need to upgrade your Loyalty card to plus by following the steps below:

      1. Download the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus application form[5] and fill it out.
      2. Submit the completed form to the nearest Pag-IBIG Fund branch.
      3. Pay the registration fee of ₱125 and keep the receipt for claiming.
      4. Proceed to the biometrics section to have your picture and fingerprints taken.
      5. Validate all the information you gave and check for errors and misspellings.
      6. Claim your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus and PIN Mailer from the bank personnel.

  35. Good day I’ve been trying to link my pag ibig loyalty cars plus sa ub online i have existing account na so dipa i add existing ko lang sya? Tama nmn yung account number ko pero ayaw parin ang lumalabas invalid number daw.

    1. Hi Emily, if you already haven an existing account in UB mobile app then just login to your existing account. Then at the HOME page of the app, click the ADD/MANAGE button at the upper right corner of the Accounts. Then choose Add an Existing Account. Then choose account number and enter the account number of your UB Pag-IBIG loyalty card plus and just follow the succeeding instructions. Thank you!
