A Simple Life

I hate Scientists,
I hate Discoverers,
I hate Innovators
and I hate Engineers including myself,
They make life quite easy for convenience
yet do they make it a worth living experience?
How could we enjoy life if we keep it busy
making things better for others to take easy
How could we appreciate GOD in his perfection
if we keep on refining things without satisfaction
Are we just practicing power and freedom given to us?
Or aren’t we feel gratified of what were endowed to us?
Why need to complicate things that can be done easily?
Why need to be in such a hurry if we can take it slowly?
Now people are struggling too much
conquering the world has become so harsh
People striving for greater knowledge and power
making them the foundation in building their tower
And so as to escape poverty and inferiority
now they put their lives in the age of superiority
Where are we really heading to?
Is there an end to this man’s quest too?
Do we really know what we are seeking for?
And why did I choose this kind of career before?
Why did I choose to become one of them?
Is this competence or an act of survival?
Is this really what my heart wanted my life to be?
Or I was just pushed toward it by my own society?
If only competence was not born in society
If only i could stop the emerging demand beyond basic necessity
I would choose to live a simple life far beyond a busy life
so that i could enjoy every second that passes by
