Step 1

To begin, sign in to your Google AdSense account using your login credentials. Once logged in, navigate to the “Payments” section in the left-hand menu and click on it. Within the Payments tab, you’ll notice a red banner similar to the one below, prompting you to add your tax information. Just click the “Add tax info” button to proceed.

On the following similar page below, just click “Add tax info” button.

Based on your location and the address information you provide to Google, Google may need to collect tax-related information from you. However, not everyone needs to provide tax information. If you’re eligible for tax exemptions, you can submit your tax information along with supporting documentation demonstrating your eligibility. In my case, I did not prepared any documents so I just click “Start form” to proceed.

Then for the Business info tab, select the type of Business you are in. For me since I’m the only owner and writer in my blogsite without a business, I choose Individual/Sole proprietor. Then if you don’t have permanent establishment in Singapore, just tick “No

Then for the following questions about my registration for Singapore GST and Tax Exemptions, I just ticked “No”.

Then click “Submit” button.

And Voila! Your tax info is now accepted!

Returning to the main payments tab, you’ll notice that the red notification regarding your tax information has disappeared, indicating that your newly updated tax details has been successfully accepted.

Additionally, Google AdSense will send an email confirmation about the acceptance of your Singapore tax info similar below.
