Here we go again. Another bill on line and another waste of time and effort for standing in queue to pay your bill. Isn’t it a drag to our schedule that instead of doing a much more productive work or taking a good rest at home after work we are falling in a long queue just to pay our dues or even avoid penalties of over dues? Why drag yourself into this annoyances and worries if we can do it at home or anywhere we are? Well, this is one of the reasons why howbutingtingworks.com was developed.
So to avoid the hassle of paying my Meralco bill, I downloaded the Meralco App and enrolled my Meralco Account using my service ID. (If you don’t know what’s your service ID or how to enroll it, just follow this link).
So let’s start using the App:

First, click the Meralco icon.

After logging in, you will be directed to your home page. Click the Pay Now button.

For the next page, check the bills you want to pay or just check the Mark All for Payment checkbox if you want to pay all your unpaid bills. Then click the Pay Now button.

For the Payment Details, I choose Credit Card to pay my bill. You can choose your own preferences as you wish according to the options you have. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Once scrolled down, you will need to provide the details of your payment method (e.g. Cardholder Name, Card Number, Expiration Date and Card Security Code – no need to input billing address). Then click the Next button found at the upper right corner of screen.
- On the next screen, the summary of your payment will be displayed including the convenience fee for using this service. Then click Pay Now button.
- Since my credit card used to pay this bill is BPI, a security measure as below will be administered. Please recognize the flashed phone number on the screen as yours before clicking Continue button as this is the number where your OTP (One-Time PIN) will be sent.

After a few seconds, a text message from BPI will arrive to your number with the OTP like below.
- Then on the same screen of BPI security, enter the received OTP to the space provided as shown below figure. Then click Continue button.
- Then your screen will temporarily get busy while your payment is being processed. Once done, a confirmation for successful payment will appear as shown below.
- Likewise, your E-mail linked to your Meralco Account will be sent with another confirmation of your transaction including the details of your payment.
- Then Voila! You just saved yourself from hassle of paying your bills in any payment Center.

same problem here…ayaw iaccept yung expiry date ng pay maya ko. Ienter ko daw yung 4 digit valid number. Eh tama nman yun.

Hi There! Yes, I am encountering this issue too as of now. For now, you can use other payment facilities like coins.ph wallet, Gcash or online banking.

Hi there! There is no way you can pay multiple bills in single transaction. You have to pay it individually as each bill has unique reference number.

Hi There! Sorry to hear that. Probably you have slow internet connection so your payment verification is having hard time to process. Or you have inputted incorrect details in the payment. Anyway you can try to update your apps or try paying the next bills of the next month to check if the problem is gone.
