How To Enroll Your Sun Life Policy/Account to BPI for Online Payment of Premium

Less than three months after I received my policy contract under Sun MaxiLink Prime, my due date for paying my first quarterly premium is getting closer. I need to devise a convenient way to pay this premium without going to any facilities or payment center just like what I did in paying my monthly amortization in Pag-Ibig. So I resorted to online payment. Since I have account in BPI, I checked if Sun Life Insurance is included among the merchants registered as biller in BPI. Fortunately, Sun Life is indeed included in the list.

So to avoid the hassle of paying my premium, I enrolled the merchant SUN LIFE CANADA PHILIPPINES as my online Biller under BPI account using my Policy number by the following steps:

First, go to BPI Online Portal Server site. Once on the site, input your Username and Password of your BPI account. Then click the Login button.
After logging in, you will be directed to your home page. Click the Other Services tab.
At the right pane of your window, click Enroll Billers found under Manage Recipients category.
Under Recipient pull down list, select Billers, then select SUNLIFE OF CANADA (PHILPPINES | SUNLIF under Biller pull down list next to it. Then for the Reference Number, input the Policy Number of your Sun Life Policy. Then click the Next button.
After clicking Next button, a pop-up window will appear on your screen for you to confirm the details of your transaction. Please verify your details before clicking the Confirm button.
Afterwards, you will be prompted to verify your number for sending the OTP code. This is the One-Time PIN for you to proceed the transaction which is a 6-digit code that will be sent to your phone number link to your BPI account. Click Yes, send me the code if you recognize the phone number as yours.
Once you receive your OTP via SMS, enter it to the verification window of BPI to continue enrolling your Sun Life account as biller.
Then Voila! You have just completed the registration of your Sun Life Account to BPI as merchant. You will then receive an E-mail from BPI online banking team pertaining to this enrollment request.
